Friday, Sept. 27

A junior high youth dance for grades 6-8 is Sept. 27, 7:30-10 p.m., Batesville Knights of St. John hall, 111 S. Vine St. Cost: $5. Proceeds help fund the Knights of St. John youth mission trip.

Saturday, Sept. 28

The Mayor’s Youth Council Trail Trek walk/run with 1.75-mile and 5-kilometer routes is Sept. 28, 9 a.m., Liberty Park. The cost is $10 per person or $25 for a family of three or more. Proceeds will be used to maintain the Liberty Trail, the first phase of the city’s trail system. Registration forms are available at www.batesvilleindiana.us and the Memorial Building.
