Friday, May 18

Brookville Main Street After Hours

The Brookville Main Street After Hours Party May 18, 6-8 p.m., features games, activities and food to benefit the county’s Relay for Life. Info: 765-647-6522.

Driver’s Ed Registrations Due

The registration deadline for the Batesville High School summer driver’s education course is May 18. A meeting for all students and parents will be held May 23, 7 p.m., BHS cafeteria.

 

Saturday, May 19

Towpath Dash

The Whitewater Canal 10K Towpath Dash and Fun Run is May 19, 8 a.m., Metamora. The cost is $25. Info: 765-647-6512 or www. active.com/10k-race/ metamora-in/towpath-10k-dash-and-fun-run-2012.

St. Nick Sprint

The St. Nick Sprint is May 19, 9 a.m., St. Nicholas School, Sunman, front parking lot. Registration, 8 a.m. Registration forms available at the school, St. Nicholas Church, Southeastern Indiana YMCA or at www.stni cholas-sunman.org. Proceeds help benefit new school project.

Poker Run

An all-terrain vehicle poker run is May 19, 11 a.m. after 10 a.m. registration, 2537 W. County Road 100 N., Versailles. The rain date is May 20. The $25 per unit registration fee aids Safe Passage and American Youth Outreach Unlimited. Info: Kevin Menchhofer, 812-756-0158. 

“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”

Batesville Memorial Public Library and Friends of the Library will sponsor “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” performed by the Cincinnati Kinderballet May 19, 3 p.m., Batesville Middle School commons. RSVP required for the free program: 934-4706.

Pork Chop Dinner

The Batesville Knights of St. John are hosting a pork chop dinner May 19, 4:30-7:30 p.m.

RAA Art Auction

The Rural Alliance for the Arts 22nd Annual Art Auction, “A Magical Evening” is May 19, 6 p.m., Hill-Rom Center. Cost: $55. Info and tickets: 933-0355. Proceeds go toward funding art programs in local schools and the community.
