Scrapbooking

The Sassy Scrappers scrapbooking group for ladies 12 and older meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month, including Aug. 7, 6 p.m., Church on the Rock. Participants should bring their own supplies. RSVP: 934-3154.

Senior Club

East Central High School’s open house is Aug. 9, 5:30-7 p.m. Refreshments will be served 5:30-6:30 p.m. courtesy of the family and consumer sciences and FFA departments.

Ladies’ Auxiliary

The Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3183 Ladies’ Auxiliary will meet Aug. 9, 7 p.m., post home. Info: Patti Weberding, 934-3644.

Applications Due

OFC Program

Aug. 24, noon, is the last day for citizens to file information to be a school board candidate for the Nov. 6 election.
