April 17-18

Batesville Water Utility employees will be flushing the water mains April 17, beginning at 5 a.m., and April 18, beginning at 6 a.m. Customers may notice fluctuations in water pressure, and the dark color of the water may be unsightly to drink and may stain clothing during washing.

April 17, 18 and 20

Adams Lutheran Church services are April 17-18, 7 p.m., for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. An Easter sunrise service is April 20, 7 a.m. followed by a freewill offering breakfast.

Friday, April 18

The Hopewell Baptist Church, Holton, Sound of the Nails Pageant for all ages is April 18, 7 p.m. Live animals, indoor staging of the courtyard and outdoor procession to the cross with over 100 characters dressed in period costumes. Info: 812-689-3348.

The Oldenburg Academy Alumni Association Easter egg hunt is April 19, 10 a.m., Sisters of St. Francis grounds, Oldenburg. Three age groups up to age 10. Bring Easter baskets.

The Batesville United Methodist Church community Easter egg hunt is April 19, 10 a.m. Four age groups up to age 12. Bring Easter baskets.

New Point area kids fifth grade and younger can participate in the New Point Kiwanis Club Easter egg hunt April 19, 1 p.m., Saltcreek Township Park. Bring Easter baskets.

An Easter egg hunt for toddlers through sixth-graders is April 19, 1 p.m., Tyson Library, 325 W. Tyson St., Versailles.

Earplane will perform April 19, 7 p.m., Batesville Memorial Public Library. Free. This is part of the BMPL After Hours Concert Series. Info: 934-4706 or www.ebatesville.com/after.
