Monday, April 7

The Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host a Health Care Information Drop-In April 7, 1-5 p.m.

The application deadline for the Southeastern Indiana Recycling District Students Making an Environmental Difference Scholarships for graduating high school seniors is Monday, April 7, at 3 p.m. Downloadable applications are available on the seird.org Web site. Info: 800-997-4793.

The last day to register to vote or transfer a registration is April 7, by 4 p.m., in the Franklin and Ripley county clerks’ offices. Entries for the Batesville Memorial Public Library’s Edible Book Feastival are due April 7 by 5 p.m. Entry forms and rules and available at the library. The winners will be revealed at 7 p.m. Info: 934-4706.

Prospective and regular Batesville Dog Park Committee members will meet April 7, 7 p.m., dog park’s future site, Liberty Park next to tennis courts.

April 7-14

The Southeastern Indiana YMCA Spring II session registration begins April 7 for members and April 10 for potential members. Programs begin April 14.

Tuesday, April 8

April 8 is the first day voters may cast absentee ballots at the county courthouses. Franklin County Clerk’s Office, weekdays until May 2, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Info: 765-647-5111, Ext. 3; Ripley County Clerk’s Office, weekdays until May 2, 8-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-4 p.m. Info: 812-689-4783. On two Saturdays, April 26 and May 3, both offices will be open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Offices closed April 18. May 5, noon, is the last day to vote absentee.
