Wednesday, Nov. 6

On Nov. 6, the Greensburg–Decatur County Public Library will host a Friends of the Library Bridge Tournament, 8:30 a.m. and Beginning Computer Class Series, 6 p.m., Info: 812-663-2826.

The Columbus Star Quilters’ Guild will meet Nov. 6, 9:30 a.m., masonic lodge, 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus. Bring item for show ‘n tell. Members will also work on their service projects. Bring machines and sewing instruments. Info: JayDee Edgell, 812-418-8669

La Leche League of Sunman, a breast-feeding support group, meets Nov. 6, 5-6 p.m., Dr. Suzanne Martini’s office, Sunman. Info: 812-654-2593.

The Sunman Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Appreciation/Awards Dinner is Nov. 6, 6 p.m. social hour, 7 p.m. dinner, Sunman American Legion post. Reservations at $20: 812-623-4553.

Batesville Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge 668 will meet Nov. 7, 7 p.m.

The Red Hat Belles of Batesville will meet for lunch Nov. 13, noon, Ertel’s Bistro and Winery. Reservations needed by Nov. 7: Eleen Weisenbach, 934-3484.

Friday, Nov. 8

A cod dinner buffet will be held Nov. 8, 4-7 p.m., St. John Lutheran Church, Hubbells Corner. Freewill offering.

The Franklin County Democratic Party fall fundraiser is Nov. 8, Knights of Columbus Hall, Brookville. Doors open, 5:30 p.m.; dinner, 6 p.m.; raffle/auction, 7 p.m. The $20 tickets can be purchased at the door. Info: Tom Vohland, 513-593-2345.
