Wednesday, Oct. 2

The Columbus Star Quilters Guild will meet Oct. 2, 9:30 a.m., Masonic lodge, 4131 Rocky Ford Road, Columbus. JoAnn Ferguson will talk about her foundation-pieced jackets. Bring a show ‘n tell. Info: 812-418-8669.

La Leche League of Sunman, a breast-feeding support group, meets Oct. 2, 5-6 p.m., Dr. Suzanne Martini’s office, Sunman. Info: 812-654-2593.

The Beginning Computer Class Series is Oct. 2, 6 p.m., Greenburg–Decatur County Public Library. Info: 812-663-2826.

The Brookville History Detectives will meet Oct. 2, 6:30 p.m., Brookville Library. Persons can bring a family heirloom or questionable antique to be photographed. The detectives will research it and return Oct. 30 to explain their findings. Info: 765-647-4031.

Friends of Batesville Memorial Public Library will meet Oct. 2, 7 p.m., library.

The Red Hat Belles of Batesville will meet Oct. 9, 11 a.m., Cross County Plaza, to carpool to North Dearborn Country Club, Aurora, for lunch and meeting. Then they will depart for Hollywood Casino. RSVP by Oct. 2: Eleen Weisenbach, 934-3484.

Thursday, Oct. 3

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Napoleon, will have its coffee social with a ham dinner Oct. 3, 4:30 p.m.
