The free Batesville Memorial Public Library Kids Health and Safety Day suggested for ages pre-kindergarten to third grade is Aug. 25, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., library parking lot. 

Chicken Dinner

The St. Paul United Methodist Church chicken dinner is Aug. 25, 4-7 p.m., church park shelter, Sunman. Cost $8. Homemade ice cream extra.

Concert Series
