A free 4-H Fun and Friendly Halloween, sponsored by Franklin County 4-H and the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, is Oct. 30, 5-7 p.m., 4-H fairgrounds, Brookville. Attendees are urged to wear costumes and bring canned food for the local pantry. Parade at 5:30 p.m., story time at 6 p.m., plus trick-or-treating, a recycled scarecrow contest, crafts and games.
