Auditions for the Rural Alliance for the Arts spring musical “The Yankee Doodle” are April 5-6, 2-4:30 p.m., Batesville High School band room. Persons ages 8 and up should be prepared to sing a patriotic or traditional musical song. Info: Pam Cope, 812-212-8833.

Sunday, April 6

The Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host a Health Care Information Drop-In April 7, 1-5 p.m.

The application deadline for the Southeastern Indiana Recycling District Students Making an Environmental Difference Scholarships for graduating high school seniors is Monday, April 7, at 3 p.m. Downloadable applications are available on the seird.org Web site. Info: 800-997-4793.

Prospective and regular Batesville Dog Park Committee members will meet April 7, 7 p.m., dog park’s future site, Liberty Park next to tennis courts.

April 7-14

The Southeastern Indiana YMCA Spring II session registration begins April 7 for members and April 10 for potential members. Programs begin April 14.

Tuesday, April 8

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3183 will meet April 8, 7 p.m.

A solo card party will be held April 8, 7:30 p.m., Batesville Knights of St. John Hall.
