Wednesday, March 19

Ripley County residents ages 55 and older who are unemployed and meet income guidelines can apply for the Experience Works Senior Community Service Employment Program March 19, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Tyson Library, 325 Tyson St., Versailles. Thursday, March 20

On March 20, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host a make and take craft; Spoons and Sundaes for T’weens in grades 4-5, 10 a.m.; and Spoons and Sundaes for Teens in grades 6-12, 1 p.m. Info and RSVP: 812-663-2826 or www.greensburglibrary.org.

A soup supper will be held March 20, 4:30-6:30 p.m., St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Osgood. Freewill offering.

The Friends of Batesville Memorial Public Library Used Book & Etc. Sale is March 20-22, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. library annex, 10 W. Boehringer St. Friends members may shop early starting at 8:30 a.m. that Thursday. Saturday from 3-5 p.m. shoppers may fill bags for $2 each.

The Batesville High School Football Parents Club Spring Mulch Sale runs through March 21. Bags containing 2 cubic feet of dark mulch can be pre-ordered at $5 each through any eighth-grade or underclassman football player or at the Batesville Middle School office or BHS athletic office.
