Wednesday, March 12

The St. Anne’s Ladies Sodality Card Party is March 12, 1 p.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church, Morris, lower hall.

Batesville Toastmasters will meet March 12, 5:30 p.m., Community Church of Batesville, 103 E. George St. Info: 934-3462.

A re-building Main Street planning session will be held March 12, 5:30 p.m., Sherman House. Info: Sarah Lamping, slamping@batesvilleindiana.us or 933-6113.

Thursday, March 13

Milan Elementary School kindergarten registration is March 13. Sessions will be scheduled in half-hour increments from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. A parent and the kindergarten child should be in attendance. Info or to schedule an appointment: 812-654-2922.

A blood drive will be held March 13, 1-6:30 p.m., Sunman American Legion hall, 412 Eastern Ave. Info or to schedule appointments: www.hoxworth.org/groups/sunman or Roger Lang, 812-623-3685.

“Living with joy and Gratitude – Saints Francis and Clare” will be presented March 13, 6:30-8 p.m., Oldenburg Franciscan Center. Cost: $15. Info and RSVP: 933-6437 or center@oldenburgosf.com.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3183 Ladies Auxiliary will meet March 13, 7 p.m.

The Erickson Irish Dancers and Dancing Grandmas (and Bob) will perform March 13, 7 p.m., Franklin County High School auditorium. Tickets at $5 for the Franklin County Arts Council show are available at the door.

Friday, March 14

A fish fry, baked potato bar and salad bar will be held March 14, 4:30-7:30 p.m., St. Nicholas Parish hall, Sunman. Freewill offering. Proceeds benefit the St. Nicholas High School Religion Program.

The Coaches vs. Cancer Basketball Tournament featuring teams from Batesville, Oldenburg, St. Louis, Milan and Lawrenceburg is March 14, 5:30 p.m., Batesville Middle School. The event is sponsored by Southeastern Indiana YMCA. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and Y’s annual campaign. Admission is $5 per person (kids 5 and under free).
