Library Happenings

On June 26, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor the summer reading program for grades 1-5, 10 a.m., 2 and 6 p.m.; and Knit Night, 6 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

“Pirate Songs, Stories and Poems”

Batesville Memorial Public Library will sponsor “Pirate Songs, Stories and Poems” by Jeff Kuehl June 26, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Registration is required for the free program. Sign up at the library. Info: 934-4706.

Quiltmakers

Batesville Toastmasters

Batesville Toastmasters meetings, which are open to the public, will be held the last Wednesday of each month during the summer, including June 27, noon-1 p.m., Hill-Rom Global Headquarters marketing conference room. Info: Beth Inskeep, 931-2613.

Hat Display Ends

The Batesville Area Historical Society Museum hat display ends June 30, 15 W. George St. Summer hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon.

Scrapbooking
