Batesville Music

and Arts Festival

The Batesville Music and Arts Festival is June 20, 8 p.m., Cincinnati Symphony Regional Pops Orchestra, Liberty Park; June 21, 6:30 p.m., band and Rural Alliance for the Arts mural unveiling, Walnut and George intersection;  June 22, 7:30 p.m., Texaco Country Showdown, park. Freewill collections each evening. Batesville Kiwanians will serve food and drinks starting at 6:30 p.m. at the park.

 

Thursday, June 21

Library Happenings

On June 21, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor a Make It Take It Craft – silly sunglasses, while supplies last; and a Balloon Satellite Launch, 7 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

Coffee Social

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Fink’s Road, Osgood, will sponsor a coffee social with southern pulled pork June 21, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Freewill offering. Half of proceeds benefit People to People Ambassador Trent Moore’s trip to Australia.

“Annie Jr.”

The Tree County Players will present “Annie Jr.” June 21-22, 7 p.m.; and June 23, 2 p.m., Greensburg Junior High School auditorium. Cost: adults, $10; ages 18 and under, $5. Advanced tickets recommended: 812-528-5289. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door.

Antique Tractor and Engine Show

The free Franklin County 4-H Fair Queen Pageant is June 24, 6:30 p.m., Franklin County High School auditorium, Brookville.

Library Happenings
