The Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor the Space Port Moon Series June 18, 1:30 p.m. (ages 7-9); 2:30 p.m. (ages 10-12); and 3:30 p.m. (ages 13-17). Info: 812-663-2826.

FCHS Picnic

and Program

The  Franklin County Historical Society pitch-in picnic is June 18, 6 p.m., Seminary Museum, 5th Street, Brookville.  Drinks provided; bring chairs. John Newman will speak on Franklin County in the Civil War.  RSVP: Pam Beneker, 765-647-7365. 

Right to Life

Ready Indiana

Ready Indiana, the Indiana Department of Education and Indiana Chamber of Commerce workforce education initiative, will host a regional 90-minute meeting June 20, Batesville, to speak with and survey employers about how to assess high school students for the job market. Batesville Music and

Arts Festival 5K

The Batesville Music and Arts Festival 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by Southeastern Indiana YMCA, is June 20, 5:30 p.m. (registration 4:30 p.m.), Liberty Park. Entry fees are $20 per person or $45 per household. Forms are available at the Y or www.siymca.org. Info: Angela Hurley, 934-6006.
