Library Happenings

On June 25, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor the Space Port Moon Series, 1:30 p.m. (ages 7-9); 2:30 p.m. (ages 10-12); and 3:30 p.m. (ages 13-17); and Read It and Eat! Teen Book Club for grades 6-12, 6:30 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

Library Happenings

On June 26, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor the summer reading program for grades 1-5, 10 a.m., 2 and 6 p.m.; and Knit Night, 6 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

“Pirate Songs, Stories and Poems”

Batesville Memorial Public Library will sponsor “Pirate Songs, Stories and Poems” by Jeff Kuehl June 26, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Registration is required for the free program. Sign up at the library. Info: 934-4706.

Batesville Toastmasters

The Secular Franciscans, a fraternity for lay people who want to follow the rule of life of St. Francis, will meet June 28, 6:30 p.m., Holy Family Catholic Church, Oldenburg, Father Rudolf Room.

The Batesville Area Historical Society Museum hat display ends June 30, 15 W. George St. Summer hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon.
