Car Wash

The Batesville Music Boosters are hosting a car wash June 16, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., behind McDonald’s. Freewill donation. Proceeds help pay for student costs like band camp, uniforms and trips.

Morris Firemen’s Festival

The Morris Firemen’s Festival is June 16, St. Anthony’s Catholic Church grounds. 9 a.m., 5K; 3 p.m. on, whole and half chicken carryouts and games; 4 p.m. on, raffles, dinners, band, beer garden; 9 p.m., fireworks.

Steak Dinner

St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hubbell’s Corner, will host a Steak Dinner with Dad June 16, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Freewill offering.

Relay for Life

Bob Knight Speech

The Batesville Community Education Foundation will host coach Bob Knight June 17. Small meet-and-greet, 1 p.m., Hill-Rom Center; speech, 2:30 p.m., Batesville High School auditorium. Reserved-seat tickets at $50 may be purchased weekdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Batesville Middle School, or at the door. Meet-and-greet tickets, which include premium seats at Knight’s speech, cost $150.
