The Ripley County Mobile Food Pantry will give away food for the needy in Laughery, Center, Jackson, Johnson and Otter Creek townships Jan. 3, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Ripley County Fairgrounds Building 16C, Osgood.

Sunday, Jan. 5

Area singers will present a concert of well-known composer Pepper Choplin’s music, led by Choplin, Jan. 5, 6-7:30 p.m., Holy Family Catholic Church. The event is sponsored by Batesville United Methodist Church and Rural Alliance for the Arts. A freewill offering will be taken for the Batesville food pantry.

Monday, Jan. 6
