Wednesday, Dec. 18

Batesville Christian Church will host a blood drive Dec. 18, 1-7 p.m. Info: 934-5147. For appointments: www.hoxworth.org/groups/bcc.

The Sunman Elementary School concert is Dec. 18, 7 p.m., East Central High School Performing Arts Center.

Thursday, Dec. 19

The St. Paul School, New Alsace, concert is Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m., gym.

The East Central High School band concert is Dec. 19, 7 p.m., Performing Arts Center.

Friday, Dec. 20

A card party will take place Dec. 20, 1:30-4 p.m., St. Andrews Health Campus. Info: Kristin Rowland, 934-5090.

The deadline is Dec. 20 for singers to participate in a Jan. 5 choral workshop and concert led by well-known composerPepper Choplin at Holy Family Catholic Church. The event is sponsored by Batesville United Methodist Church and Rural Alliance for the Arts. The cost for the workshop and music is $10 for adult singers and free for high school students. A public dance is Dec. 21, 8-11 p.m., Batesville Eagles. One-man band Gene Gillman will play country ‘50s and ‘60s music.

The New Point Christian Church Live Nativity is Dec. 22-24, 7-9 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 23

Kids in grades K-4 can handcraft and wrap gifts for their parents at Santa’s Workshops Dec. 23, 10 a.m., Brookville library and 2 p.m., Laurel library. RSVP: 765-647-4031 and 765-698-2582.
