The Sons of the American Legion will host a stillboard shoot Dec. 15, 11 a.m., Prell-Bland American Legion Post 271, 2899 E. Legion Road. Info: 934-2228.

The Clyde Flodder/Mule Nobbe Memorial Shoot is Dec. 15, 11 a.m., Tri-Township Conservation Club. Partial proceeds will go to the American Heart Fund and Cancer Fund.

Monday, Dec. 16

The Ripley County Food Pantry will give away food for the needy in Laughery, Center, Jackson, Johnson and Otter Creek townships Dec. 16, 9 a.m.-noon and 5:30-7 p.m., Ripley County Fairgrounds Building 16C, Osgood. One monthly visit per family.

The St. Louis School band, strings and choir concert is Dec. 16, 2 p.m., activity center.

The Batesville Middle School and Batesville High School band concert is Dec. 16, 7 p.m., BHS auditorium.

Family Cares, a support group for family members of those with mental illness, meets Dec. 16, 7 p.m., Batesville Memorial Public Library.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3183 Men’s Auxiliary will meet Dec. 16, 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will meet Dec. 17, 10 a.m., Ponderosa Steakhouse, Greensburg. Info: 765-629-2720.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Friday, Dec. 20

The deadline is Dec. 20 for singers to participate in a Jan. 5 choral workshop and concert led by well-known composerPepper Choplin at Holy Family Catholic Church. The event is sponsored by Batesville United Methodist Church and Rural Alliance for the Arts. The cost for the workshop and music is $10 for adult singers and free for high school students.
