A Girl Scout Troop 81150 breakfast is Feb. 23, 7 a.m.-noon, Holy Family Church cafeteria, Oldenburg. Freewill offerings will support troop activities.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Men’s Auxiliary will have a stillboard and trap shoot Feb. 23, 11 a.m., Tri-Township Conservation Club, Oldenburg. Meat and money shoots.

Monday, Feb. 24

A suicide prevention program by Colleen Carpenter will be presented Feb. 24, 7 p.m., Lawrenceburg Public Library Ewbank Room, 150 Mary St. Sponsored by the library and the National Alliance on Mental Illness Southeast Indiana. Info: 513-478-0457 or www.NAMI.org.

The Batesville Singers “Back to the ‘80s” Dinner Shows are March 1, 6 p.m.; and March 2, 2 p.m., Batesville Middle School old gym. The Secular Franciscans, a fraternity for those who want to follow the rule of life of St. Francis of Assisi, will meet Feb. 27, 6:30 p.m., Holy Family Church, Oldenburg, Father Rudolf Room.

Stayin’ Alive, the Franklin County Local Coordinating Council of the Governor’s Commission for a Drug-Free Indiana, is accepting grant applications through noon Feb. 28 for projects and programs that aim to reduce substance abuse problems in the county.
