Farm-City Banquet

The Farm-City Banquet, sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Batesville, Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Batesville High School FFA, is Nov. 13, 6:30 p.m., Batesville Middle School commons. Doors open, 6 p.m. Cost: $7 in advance at Hertel Shoe Store, FCN Bank, Geis Electronics, Appliances, Bedding and Furniture, BACC or from FFA members; or $9 at the door. Democrats Meeting

The Ripley County Democrats will meet Nov. 13, Osgood Grub Co. Dinner, 6 p.m. and meeting, 7 p.m. 

Solo Card Party

The Knights of St. John, Batesville, will host a solo card party Nov. 13, 7 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 14

Quiltmakers

Batesville Quiltmakers will meet Nov. 14, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Batesville Memorial Public Library. Info: Carolyn Tully, 812-689-7012.

Batesville Toastmasters

The Batesville Toastmasters meeting, which is open to the public, is Nov. 14, noon-1 p.m., Hillcrest Country Club. Info: Susi Wolfe, 934-3462.

Card Party

The St. Anne’s Ladies Sodality is sponsoring a card party  Nov. 14, 1-4:30 p.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church, Morris, lower hall.

OFC Program

Library Happenings

The Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor Let’s Dance for grades 6-12 Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

 

Nov. 16 and Nov. 18

“Alice in Wonderland”

The Batesville High School Drama Club presents “Alice in Wonderland” Nov. 16, 7 p.m., and Nov. 18, 2 p.m., auditorium. Tickets at $5 will be sold the week before the show at BHS and Batesville Middle School offices. A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is Nov. 18, 2 p.m. For an extra $5, students can mingle and have photos taken with costumed characters and enjoy cupcakes and juice.
