Library offers homework help

The Batesville Herald-Tribune

---- — Elementary students are invited to meet at the Tyson Library, Versailles, to work on homework or projects Thursday evenings throughout the school year. A limited supply of project materials will be provided at little or no cost. “Our staff cannot guarantee that we can answer all of your questions, but we will try,” reports program coordinator Amy Welch.

Library employees can also provide a detailed list of books to help meet Accelerated Reader goals based on a student’s interests.

Every month, a newly-released-to-DVD movie is shown on the library’s lower level big screen. Ratings are posted as assigned by the Motion Picture Association of America. Parents are urged to read the rating and review information in order to make an informed decision prior to allowing children to view any film.

Please contact the library or check the Web site for the latest title. Popcorn and drinks are served! Please sign-up to guarantee a seat.

Persons should RSVP for upcoming events so there are enough materials: 812-689-5894 or www.tysonlibrary.org.
