Turtle Soup Sale

St. Louis Catholic Church is having its mock turtle soup sale Sept. 10, noon-6:30 p.m.; Sept. 11, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sept. 12-14, 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; and Sept. 15, 8 a.m.-noon, Activity Center. It will also be available at Schmidt’s Bakery during its normal hours and during the church festival Sept. 16 while supplies last. Cost: gallon, $12; half gallon, $6; quart, $3.

Contest Deadline

Entry forms for Batesville’s trail naming contest are due by Sept. 11. They can be downloaded at www. batesvilleindiana.us or picked up at the Memorial Building.
